ZANE GREY Estate

Zane Grey Estate was designed by Myron Hunt and Elmer Grey in 1906, expanded by the novelist Zane Grey in the 1920s. This 12,000SF Mediterranean Revival estate was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 2002. Local Design Collaborative has been retained to design a new pool, terraces and adjacent pool house, along with a new three car, carriage-style garage. Additionally a new master bathroom will be created utilizing an existing enclosed sleeping porch.

Zane Grey wrote of the house, ‘’In Altadena, I have found those qualities that make life worth living.‘’
