The design thoughtfully nestles exterior courtyards within the plan, aimed to extend the city applied limitation of interior space. The indoor/ outdoor ambiguity realized through operable glass walls and continuous flooring material perceptually expands the extent of the interior living space.

The architectural design is a series of simple boxes with alternating sloped roofs, breaking down the mass of the house into a series of “Little Boxes on the Hillside”.
